The Theology of Politics

This started out as a venue to show how politics should be governed by theology. It is now evolving as a development of Relational Theology which challenges the centuries-old classical theologies of church fathers like Augustine, Aquinas, Calvin and even Arminius.

I am currently unlearning classical theologies which, I now believe, are a pagan aberation of Judeo-Christianity initiated by the likes of Augustine, complicated by rationalist theologians and further dogmatized by John Calvin and publicly espoused by popular speakers who claim to be Calvinists but live like Arminians. I am a very avid student of Biblical Theology and I am not a theologian by education, but I am a seasoned analyst and developer in Information Technology, a graduate of Mathematics and Actuarial Science and possess a Masters Degree in Business. So with my study discipline and objective analytical skills, I would like to prove that I can know God through common sense study of divine revelation through the Scriptures but without the distortion of Seminary [which is, ultimately, a conglomeration of others' opinions about God]. I would like to prove the fulfillment of God's promise in Jeremiah 29:13, "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.". As you read through the pages of my blogs with an open mind, I believe you would agree with me that God is fulfilling His end of that promise.

The US is run by idiots!

OK, somebody has to say it, and I don't mean people like George Bush. Far from it.

Jane Fonda succeeded in halting nuclear power plant construction in 1979. So the US uses at least 40% coal and fossil fuels to power the country.

Global Warming? Blame Jane Fonda

If you're wondering who's largely to blame for the alleged heating up of the climate you need look no further than Jane Fonda.

That's what "Freakanomics" columnists Stephen J. Dubner and Steven D. Levitt suggest in Sunday's New York Times Magazine.

"If you were asked to name the biggest global warming villains of the past 30 years, here's one name that probably wouldn't spring to mind: Jane Fonda. But should it?" the authors ask.

According to Editor & Publisher, the two cite Fonda's anti-nuclear thriller "The China Syndrome," which opened just 12 days before the Three Mile Island accident in 1979, as helping stoke "a widespread panic." Fonda, E&P notes became a high-profile anti-nuke activist in an already-strong movement that resulted in the nuclear industry halting plans for expansion.

"And so," the authors continue, "instead of becoming a nation with clean and cheap nuclear energy, as once seemed inevitable, the United States kept building power plants that burned coal and other fossil fuels. Today such plants account for 40 percent of the country's energy-related carbon-dioxide emissions. Anyone hunting for a global-warming villain can't help blaming those power plants -- and can't help wondering too about the unintended consequences of Jane Fonda."

And then there is the Senate and Congress making MILITARY DECISIONS BASED ON POPULAR SUPPORT. A classic case of the REALLY-BLIND leading the REALLY-BLIND!!!

Here's some of the rest...

Hollywood making moral decisions.
Tom Cruise and Shirley McLane talking about theology.
The same "scientists" crying GLOBAL WARMING who just decades ago claimed that the earth was headed towards a new Ice Age.
People who seek God's will and don't read the Bible or meditate on it. (Haah! You knew this was coming!)

Now that I've got your attention....

I have a Jewish friend who was in the hospital for cancer. I emailed him to tell him my concern and to ask if he ever considered seriously what happens in the after-life. He emailed me back that as far as he was concerned he left the worrying about that to his Rabbi.

Hmmmm, trusting your eternity to someone who has never been there. That is high risk. And yet it happens all the time. Millions of faithful Roman Catholics entrusting their eternal life to a priest (many saddled with homosexuality and in the Middle ages, utter perversion and impregnating nuns) or the Pope ( a lineage of many corrupt individuals, some known homosexuals and perverts, especially during Martin Luther's time).

Protestants, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Scientologist are not exempt. They have many beliefs based on "special knowledge", called special because they really can never be validated nor authenticated.

No one would let the local nurse change the electrical wiring in his home.
These same people would not entrust filing a lawsuit with their everyday postman but actually finding an expensive lawyer to do so, just based on qualifications, yes, but mainly EXPERIENCE. Someone who can claim --- BEEN THERE, DONE THAT!!!

So as far as eternity is concerned, who is more qualified than Jesus Christ? Been there, done that! And what further revelation does one need when everything is clearly outlined in Scripture, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by ME". - -John 14:6 and many other verses.

Roman Catholics do NOT believe in the Trinity!

They believe in the Four-nity which includes "The Blessed Virgin Mary".

I wanted to title this blog as "Many Roman Catholics do NOT believe in the Trinity!". However, this has been the OFFICIAL position of the Roman Catholic Church.

Make no mistake about it. Since they've elevated Mary to the status of Divine with the doctrines of the Immaculate Conception and the Assumption of Mary, this technically means that there are 4 co-equally perfect persons in heaven.

The TRUE Trinitarian concept, of course, declares that there are only 3 perfect persons.

Tragically, if they don't accept this, then Mary is a mutant.

Just being logical....
